What We Love: One of our favorite Puerto Escondido luxury hotels located not far from the Playa Zicatela and downtown Puerto Escondido and other popular points of interest, this small hotel property was designed by architect Ludwig Godfrey combining modern elements with indigenous roots, resulting in a unique and comfortable space that captures the essence of Oaxacan coastal living.
The property has two room types, with the three terrace suites complete with an outdoor bathtub. Inside the property’s nine suites, you’ll find minimalist grey walls in the interior, designed inspired by Mexican artistry. Bespoke furnishings and locally sourced decor in each spacious room celebrate Oaxaca’s rich cultural heritage.
The property has a rooftop terrace providing stunning ocean and town views. It is just in front of the Punta Zicatela Ecological Community, providing a beautiful nature-driven backdrop to your stay. If you’re a food lover, this is the best place to make a reservation for a 7-course dinner with wine pairings at Glou Glou Wine Bar by chef Luis Pabón and sommelier Gabriela Moreno. The wine bar has a great selection of natural wines, too.
