If there is one city from the #OffMenu series that I wish adopted me, it'd be Nashville. The lovely Beth Sachan showed me around her hometown and I forgot just how much I adore that city. The people, the vibrancy, the music, and, of course, the food!
When it came to Nashville, Beth took us all around from the up-and-coming Gulch neighborhood for coffee at Barista Parlor, the iconic Nashville dish of hot chicken from Hattie B's, and a sophisticated dinner at Sinema. Oh, and honky tonk at Robert's Western World because it isn't Nashville without a little live music, you know?
And the recipe that I was determined to perfect? My homemade version of Hattie B's Hot Chicken — a dish you must make if you've never had it. The only other acceptable option is to fly to Nashville to try it first hand!
