So we did some research and we’ve pulled together 5 businesses we’re currently crushing on based right here in the good ‘ol US of A who have flung hearts into our eyes and hefty orders into our mailboxes.
This Capitol Hill-based design trio are really making sure we are well covered and fabulously stylish in all areas of our home. From geometric metallic lighting pendants to funky colorful architectural furniture, we wouldn’t mind turning our living room into our own personal showroom of their goods!
A colorful quartet based in NYC, Fort Makers is a unique artist collective creating both large scale installations and vibrant objects for the home. Whether you’re looking for textiles packed with bold color and pattern or simple (yet gorgeously modern) wooden mobiles, this is a great place for gifts (including those you might give yourself) sure to add a little eclectic personality into your home.
Family owned and run since 1978, Sante Fe Stone Works puts southwestern flair into surprisingly chic cutlery. If you’re wanting to step up your style for your Chef, cheese, or pocket knives, look here. These babies are so stunning that you’re going to want to keep these semi-precious stone-handled goods on display.
Sometime the most simple practices can produce the most stunning impact. Case in point: Los Angeles-based luxury bedding company MATTEO, who is making sure we’re sleeping in style. Details such as crocheted trims and jacquard-woven texture that are available in unexpected grey and black colored fabrics (made, sewn and dyed to order, no less) have us giddy for bedtime. If these don’t promise a perfect night's sleep, we’re not sure what would.
Joshua Tree definitely sings to its own laid back stylish tune, and BKB Ceramics is successfully channeling that dessert vibe in their rustic yet modern pieces. The combination of rough and glazed textures come in a variety of neutral color palettes that look exceptional grouped in pairs. We could see a collection growing quickly and we’re not one bit sorry about it.
