Zurich totally surprised me (in a great way) when it came to food. Obviously, I expected lots of cheeses, chocolate, and wine but I didn’t really think much beyond that. Living in Manhattan for almost a decade, I was used to having everything at my fingertips. Well, everything except nature. But after relocating to Denver, getting outdoors is my norm, with one my favorites being the road trip to Boulder. I tend to do all three: head on a hike, stock up on produce at the Farmers Market, and finish the afternoon with a bite (or two).
