Our Favorite Pins | Holiday Cookie Baking

How did the tradition of cookie baking come about for the holidays? If Santa needed workout fuel for his marathon present-dropping dash, these days most experts would recommend a steak rather than a stack of double chocolate chips or iced sugar snowflakes, right? Or at least, some locally-sourced, house-cured jerky.

Whatever the reason, Christmas time is also cookie time, and really, we wouldn't have it any other way! With the frenetic feeling the holidays can bring, it's a welcome thing to hunker down in the kitchen with our jars of flour, rolling pins and a favorite recipe (or two!).
