Let's Travel Together! Announcing Salt & Wind Trips!

Hello, Salt & Wind readers! We've got a really exciting announcement today. As of 2017, Salt & Wind is coming offline to launch IRL trips! And, of course, we want you to join in the adventure.

If you're interested, sign up here and we'll keep you posted. Looking forward to traveling with you in the New Year! In the meantime, here's a litte more info:

THE WHY

We launched Salt & Wind because we couldn't find a travel resource out there that really spoke to us and the way we traveled. Well, in the two years that the site's been around we noticed there isn't reallly a travel company that does everything we care about and we aim to change that with  intimate, unique travels with like-minded people.

Each trip will be a small group (fewer than 20 people) traveling to the places we believe have the ideal mix of food, adventure, and great people.

THE WHERE

We're working hard to nail down exact dates and itinearies but here's what we know for now:

April 2017: Baja California, Mexico

We'll head south across the border on this 2 to 3 day trip to Northern Baja California a region that has an under-appreciated but emerging food, beer, and wine scene. Starting in Tijuana then heading to nearby Ensenada and the adjacent wine region, the trip will be a mix of high end meals, street food, beer and wine tasting, shopping at local boutiques, and adventures to keep you active!

September 2017: Emilia-Romagna, Italy

Maybe you've been to Italy, but have you been to Emilia-Romagna? The home to Bologna, Parmiggiano, and balsamic is a culinary powerhouse. On this 7 to 10 day trip we'll visit nearby wine regions, eat at Michelin-starred restaurants, forage for seasonal ingredients, and cook our own meals.

October 2017: Oahu, Hawaii

You may have noticed I have major love for Oahu and I want to show you why! On this 3 to 5 day trip we'll explore the world-class dining scene, go on a bar and shopping crawl, take surf lessons, and try all the essential local foods.
