David Frenkiel and Luis Vindahl - the duo behind the stunning vegetarian food blog Green Kitchen Stories, authors of both Vegetarian Everyday and Green Kitchen Travels - invite us along for a perfect day in their hometown, Stockholm, Sweden.

To us, Stockholm means home, friends, family, and cafes; though, at times, it can also means cold, dark, windy, and rainy. We love it, especially for the water—the city is encircled by water — but at the same time that it’s surrounded by nature, Stockholm is very urban and very much a city, with great shopping and cafes. Our perfect day would cover all of that, along with a trip to a museum, a stop at a spa, and, if the weather cooperates, a picnic under the apple trees.
