Citrus Vodka Martini Cocktail

We haven’t given Martinis much love around here because we kind of assume we’ve all been there done that. But, when our friends at Juliska offered up their gorgeous Martini set for a holiday giveaway, it got us rethinking this classic cocktail. Here is a very slight twist on the classic, a Citrus Vodka Martini Cocktail recipe with a twist.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

I always feel like a Bond girl when drinking a martini, I don’t drink many, but when I do I feel a certain type of elegancy-ish cliché, like something out of a movie, so of course when I am feeling kind of down and want to feel more empowered, I think there is no better drink to accompany that feeling than this Citrus Vodka Martini.

Recipe Ingredients

These are the ingredients that you’ll need to make this recipe:

  • Vodka
  • Dry vermouth
  • Ice cubes
  • Orange peel twist
  • Castelvetrano olives

How To Make This Recipe

These are the instruction that you’ll need to follow to make this recipe:

  1. Combine the vodka and vermouth in a mixing glass or pitcher and fill halfway with ice. Stir until chilled then strain into a chilled coupe or Martini glass. Twist the peel over the top of the drink then drop in, garnish with an olive (if desired) and serve.

Now, go stock up on all your cooking essentials, then head into the kitchen, make this, and share it with us by tagging @saltandwind and #swsociety on social!
