Aida Mollenkamp, Founder and Editor-In-Chief
Aida is a food travel expert and the founder of Salt & Wind and Salt & Wind Travel. She studied at the Cornell Hotel School and Le Cordon Bleu Paris before joining CHOW Magazine where she worked as Food Editor. Aida then moved to television and hosted the Food Network show, Ask Aida, FoodCrafters on the Cooking Channel, In The Pantry on Yahoo!, and the TasteMade series, Off Menu. Her cookbook, Keys To The Kitchen, is a go-to for home cooks who want to become more adventurous. Grace Helfrich, Marketing and Public Relations
Grace started her career working for clients such as L’Oreal Paris and MARS Snackfoods. She eventually became Director of Marketing at Pelican Studios where she managed her clients’ social media programs. She focuses on growing our brand presence and creating strategic collaborations.
Kristin Beasley, Director of Editorial Partnerships
Kristin has over 12 years of experience in advertising and business development. Her career has spanned from boutique agencies to international media companies, where she’s managed media budgets and digital marketing strategies for a variety of clients including SKYY Vodka, Campari, and Harry & David. Kristin handles all brand collaborations and sponsorships for Salt & Wind.
Julia Cartwright, Editorial and Trips Intern
Julia Cartwright is a Junior studying at Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration where she is concentrating on the Food and Beverage side of hospitality. She is a native Californian who loves cooking, traveling, and doing both with friends.

Jackie Bryant, Editor-At-Large & Trips Coordinator
Jackie is a food and travel writer who can often be found in some phase of entering or exiting Mexico. After leaving her native New York and escaping her former career in finance, she relocated to San Diego. Her work can be found at publications like Roads & Kingdoms, New Worlder, AFAR, Harper's BAZAAR, Thrillist and The Infatuation, among others. In addition to contributing to Salt & Wind, she's also using her Baja expertise to help design and execute Salt & Wind's Mexico trips.
Hayley is a Strategic Director and food travel writer who was born in Charleston, South Carolina. She currently resides in Venice, California with her husband, Jesse have recently opened their very first, tiny restaurant in Venice Beach, Chez Tex. Hayley writes travel tips and all sorts of food travel stories for Salt & Wind.
Ashley Maurer is a content creator and strategist who's hungry for anything and everything and helps people on their journey towards social media perfection. She covers Wellness stories for Salt & Wind with the aim of helping our readers healthy, centered, and rested when they travel.
